I found my calling to work with young children one year when I was working at a sports camp. 

" Wouldn't it be great if I could run my own childcare business" I thought to myself as a young 18 year old. 

Well, in 2004 I did open my own childcare business. Reality quickly set in as I struggled to pay rent, hire staff and take a pay myself.

I had no clear marketing strategy. I had no plan. I thought that being great at what I did would be enough! As the years passed and more and more childcare businesses popped up in the area, my enrollment went down!
